Tevin Tobun has been nominated for the sixth consecutive year as one of the most influential black Britons by Powerlist Magazine.
His nomination places him among a distinguished group of fellow industry leaders and entrepreneurs from the world of Business, Finance, Arts, Technology, and Media.
The Powerlist is an annual publication, first published over 15 years ago, to provide professional role models for young people of African and African Caribbean heritage, it also acts as a valuable resource for identifying black British talent for the corporate sector.
Many of the nominees are trailblazers within their field including Edward Enninful, Afua Kyei, Steven Bartlett and Lord Simon Woolley. Tobun’s nomination in the category of Business, Corporate Execs, Financiers and Entrepreneurs, showcases his remarkable achievements over the past year with nearly double year-on-year growth within GV Group and the launch of his new business, ROUTD.
ROUTD, a tech platform built using AI and machine learning, is disrupting traditional vending, warehouse management, and last-mile delivery services. Through its intuitive data led approach it creates visibility, efficiency, and accountability for all stakeholders.
Powerlist nominees are graded on their ability to influence, which the list defines as: ‘the ability to positively alter events and change lives as demonstrated over a reasonable period of time’. Tobun's nomination highlights his ongoing commitment to philanthropy and social advocacy, including his drive to promote workplace diversity and improve educational opportunities for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. This is done through the Tobun Foundation, his work with Springboard and the Open University, in addition to the London based not-for-profit Inspirational You.
